What you will do
We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Consultant Intern/Co-op starting in May 2023 to September 2023 working in our Management Consulting practice in Montreal. You will have the opportunity to work across industries to take on challenging and groundbreaking projects. From analyzing and assessing business processes to improving client performance, you’ll be building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success.
Note: You will be asked to complete an application questionnaire where you can outline your three (3) preferred service lines in Management Consulting. If you are not selected for your first choice, you may still have the oppurtunity to be interviewed for your second or third choice.

KPMG's Intelligent Automation (IA) practice helps clients across all industries unlock value leveraging user behavior analysis, business process automation, new digital interactions as well as data governance and management. As part of the IA practice you will assist our clients throughout their automation journey, from strategy definition, opportunity identification and initial roadmap to scaled automation operations leveraging the best of breed technologies.
People & Change
We advance our client’s business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviours. We assist our clients with strategic alignment, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformation and culture shifting. With experience in all industries, as well as both the private and public sectors, our People and Change practice helps organizations drive value and enhance success by optimizing their talent agenda and activating their most valuable resource, their people.
Technology, Strategy & Transformation
KPMG's Technology Strategy and Transformation team supports organizations in end-to-end digital transformations that link front, middle, and back office departments. We work with various leaders and directors in technology domains to define their digital transformation vision and then develop a customized technology strategy and implementation plan that will enhance the value of the business to make it a truly connected enterprise. We also offer services that span the entire data lifecycle, from developing data strategies to deploying data platforms to generate critical insights and analytics. All of this to increase confidence in their data, make more informed decisions and limit exposure to regulatory penalties.

KPMG’s Enterprise Solutions teams help client teams create and maintain a competitive advantage in the market. Your role will help clients to strategically enhance their internal operating models to become a digitally connected enterprise. You will help CIOs make their function future ready. As part of a team that applies skills in IT strategy and system implementation such as Oracle, you will help clients execute their transformation strategies with the technology best suited to their business, data, and information requirements as a functional or technical consultant. In addition to participating in pursuits and practice development, your day-to-day activities may include:
KPMG's Operations team supports clients in the Financial Services industry (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Pensions, Healthcare & Life Sciences) with a range of services including strategic planning, industry related technology system implementations, Target Operating Model (TOM) creation, process improvement/design, cost optimization/value realization and accounting/regulatory change programs. As a member of the Operations team, you will assist clients in conducting current state assessments/diagnostics, target state vision/design, as well as developing roadmaps and supporting implementation.

- Contribute to the configuration and development of ServiceNow solutions
- Contribute to the design of ServiceNow solutions
- Contribute to the design, implementation and documentation of quality and reusable configuration and reusable code.
- Support the delivery team during projects in the documentation of business and technical requirements
- Support the delivery team in the research of information and documentation of customer deliverables.
- Participate in workshops and documentation of stories.
- Work with customers to assess their current processes and tools, define ServiceNow requirements and develop and
- Perform and support customers in unit testing, identify errors and make corrections.
- Contribute to the implementation of integrations between ServiceNow and other technologies.
- Contribute to the standardization of deliveries by respecting the established best practices
- Throughout a co-op or internship, you’ll work on client engagement and have access to training, professional development, and innovative learning experiences. From analyzing and assessing business processes to improving client performance, you’ll be building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success.
For all service lines:
- You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as business, commerce, science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, arts, etc.). Candidates graduating between April 2023 and August 2023 should apply.
- You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic to take on a variety of challenges and opportunities
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You have a strong academic record
- You have the ability to work independently without supervision
- You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure
- You have a strong sense of personal accountability
- You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver
- Strong interest in Technology and a strong aptitude to learn quickly
- Understanding of programming languages; Strong Python, Squl, C++, and/or Java proficiency is an asset for certain teams.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and analytics to non-technical persons, as well as business processes, concepts, challenges and issues to technical persons.
