Job Description:
- Provide logistical services and transportation of parts and accessories to Honda Canada's warehouses and to HCI's dealer network (Canada Wide). This job ensures that parts arrive in the warehouses from our vendors and then delivered to the dealer network in a timely manner while maintaining the highest efficiencies and quality of goods delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and arrange contracts, maintaining a healthy and productive relationship with vendor's;
- Review/analyze/tracking shipments and report items related to Parts Department (Warehouse, Logistics, Inventory Control, DCD, Business Planning);
- Support zones and other departments within Honda and, or, 3PL;
- GHQS, GHG, Support and assure Provincial/Federal Government regulation within logistics and warehousing;
- Build, Monitor and review costs/reports related to budgets, Parts department, American Honda, North American Honda;
- Responsible for Packaging as well.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Logistics, and Inventory Management
- Post-secondary education/college diploma or bachelor's degree is an asset
- Call Centre experience is a definite asset
- Bilingual in English & French – both verbal and written is required
- Must be computer proficient specifically in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Must have excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must have strong analytical, planning, organization, and strategic skills
- Working experience in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Have the capability to multitask in a fast paced-environment and know how to prioritize various demands and inquiries
- Some travel is required
- Develops and maintains good working relationships and all members of the team
- Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers, partners, consultants, stakeholders and other network contacts
- Enjoys team building approach of management and department - shares results
