Leads, coaches and develops a team of highly skilled technical professionals who develop, implement and support RBC middleware software for both IBM mainframe and distributed environments.
- Managing a team of highly skilled developers, projects, and tasks.
- Working with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level. Working with business units to understand and meet information needs.
- Working with technology organizations and other business partners to anticipate challenges to information flows and develop solutions that ensure reliability.
- Providing system availability and space to meet the hardware and software requirements for the Customer Support function.
- Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining reports and reporting tools for service centers and enterprise partners.
Must Have
- Typically requires 7+ years of computer related experience, with 3+ years of people management experience
- Computer or related degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate on a wide variety of issues throughout the organization at various levels (technical specialists, SMEs, senior managers, executives, and our client base)
- Demonstrates knowledge with IBM z/OS, software development with various languages, and middleware technologies including IBM MQ
- Ability to learn quickly, develop new ideas and creative solutions, and lead projects
- Working experience with various Operation System, including IBM z/OS, Windows and Unix
- Working experience with IBM MQ, IMS and CICS
